Karr Bass Class Exercises

Gary Karr   created these exercises with violin pedagogue,  George Bornoff,  many years ago.  We always learned and performed them by rote – a real advantage for focussing on how you are playing – left hand, right hand, stance, sound.  This kind of exercise can really enhance proprioception.  This edition is my own take on the standard exercises and may different from other versions.  Use “TOYS” while doing warm-ups.

Apologies for the fuzzy music manuscript.  (Hosting has yet to come up with a good solution.)
