This was started as a pedagogical project. I would sometimes improvise a treble line for students in lessons which would help define phrasing and direction. Two of my students (Charlie Reischl and Zoe Kumagai) gave a joint recital, both had been doing the first suite quite well and I though it a shame they couldn’t perform it together. I was inspired to take winter break to create this duo version. It is also included in Pedagogy Book 1.
